The World of Tomorrow

It's all fun and games until someone invades Poland.
1939 was the year of the great New York World's Fair, or as this documentary accurately puts it, a real-life land of Oz, complete with surreal architecture, a tin woodsman and a midget village. I could ramble for hours on the subject, but I'll let the documentary above do the talking. It's a nicely done tribute to this little slice of paradise between the depression and World War II.

No, this blog hasn't been left out to die just yet, I just haven't come around to doing something worth displaying. Especially now that I finally found a job.
